Latest Happenings on Stardoll!

Well, I couldn't call myself a blogger if I didn't post all about the new going-ons in Stardoll.  First, we began receiving mysterious messages:

And now, we know that there will be a new suite called the "Beach Villa" coming to Stardoll!  I had a feeling these messages weren't going to be just about another styled outfit...

Also in the news is the addition of... Starcoins! These Starcoins are the new currency on Stardoll. You can earn them by doing tasks such as commenting on things, changing your MeDoll, and even 2 for logging in.  You can earn up to 40 per day, and 1000 per month!  They don't expire like Play and Earn, though.  The Stardollar is still there, and it is the currency for Superstars.  Its kind of like Farm Cash and Farm Coins on Farmville, or dollars and Brownie Points on Sorority Life (if anyone's familiar with those)!  Stardollars can be exchanged for Starcoins, but not the other way around.  Starcoins can only be used on "non-superstar" items.  Every ten Starcoins are the equivalent of one Stardollar.  Starcoins have received mixed reviews.  I, personally, am not too thrilled, but I don't hate them.  It just means I will have to buy all my Stardollars from now on, instead of using Play and Earn ones on Superstar items.  Also, my cousin recently got Stardoll, and her Superstar day was almost over, but since the Stardollars got converted to Starcoins, she couldn't buy any more "Superstar" items.  I hope Stardoll figures that one out.  On the other hand, people are selling items in Starbazaar for like 2 Starcoins, so its like getting them for .2 Stardollars!  Unfortunately for us smart shoppers, they'll probably figure it out soon.  So, what's your opinion on the Starcoin matter?

Finally, many Superstars will be glad to see that you can now reserve items in Starbazaar!  If something is reserved, it has a tag with a heart on it.  You can reserve something simply by typing someone's name in the "Reserve For" box in your StarBazaar.

Finally, there's a new collection of Super Supreme out.  It's full of celebrity name puns, and at the end, there is a Sunny Bunny-inspired section.  They range in price from 35-80.  So far, the only ones gone are "Kitty Purry" and "Miss Gaga".  I bought the "Black Eyed Peas".  They're cuter and a lot less expensive.  Did you buy any?
