Pet-A-Porter Cats Are No Longer Kittens!

Well, yesterday the owners of Pet-A-Porter kittens got a message saying that the cats would grow up soon.  Today, they did!  You can see how all of the cats look at the Pet-A-Porter store in Starplaza, but here are mine, Lily and Mookiana:

I think they turned out to be the prettiest. ;]

New Stores!

There are a couple of new stores in Starplaza in addition to the Riviera store.  First, we have the LiuJo store for Germany and Italy.  Last night, the clothes were available for free, even in the US, and I got them.  Luckily, Stardoll hasn't charged me for them :).  Also, there is a Beach Villa decor store called Fantasy Hotel.  I really like some of the pieces!

There's a new store in Starplaza!  It's called Riviera, and there are a lot of beach-themed clothes.  It reminds me of the beach villa!  I wonder if there's a connection?  The clothes are a mix of Superstar, and Non-SS (or Stardollar and Starcoin) prices, but they're mostly Superstar.  I like some of them!  Do you?

There are a lot of spoilers today...

Here, I think, we have some more spoilers for the Kung Fu Panda promotion, and then on the right, I'd guess those are for some new Windows on the World clothes.  I'm thinking France, because of the little flag attached to the heart.

These are really pretty clothes!  I see some tennis stuff, some definite Windows on World-esque clothes, and some things that could be the new PPQ everyone's talking about!

More lovely clothes... Do I spy a Ke$ha trash-bag dress there?  But wait- there's more!

Phew! Well, I'm pretty sure that's the last of them for now.  They're all very nice!  I can't wait until they come out!  Oh, and by the way, there's a 25% off sale at Sunny Bunny!

Spoilers... and My Take on Them

Well, you all have probably already seen these spoilers, but here they are anyway.  The ones on the left are all obviously related to the new Kung Fu Panda movie coming out, though I'm not sure about the crown.  And then there's the trollface.  Yes, it was really in spoilers.  What do you think about it?

Latest Happenings on Stardoll!

Well, I couldn't call myself a blogger if I didn't post all about the new going-ons in Stardoll.  First, we began receiving mysterious messages:

And now, we know that there will be a new suite called the "Beach Villa" coming to Stardoll!  I had a feeling these messages weren't going to be just about another styled outfit...

Also in the news is the addition of... Starcoins! These Starcoins are the new currency on Stardoll. You can earn them by doing tasks such as commenting on things, changing your MeDoll, and even 2 for logging in.  You can earn up to 40 per day, and 1000 per month!  They don't expire like Play and Earn, though.  The Stardollar is still there, and it is the currency for Superstars.  Its kind of like Farm Cash and Farm Coins on Farmville, or dollars and Brownie Points on Sorority Life (if anyone's familiar with those)!  Stardollars can be exchanged for Starcoins, but not the other way around.  Starcoins can only be used on "non-superstar" items.  Every ten Starcoins are the equivalent of one Stardollar.  Starcoins have received mixed reviews.  I, personally, am not too thrilled, but I don't hate them.  It just means I will have to buy all my Stardollars from now on, instead of using Play and Earn ones on Superstar items.  Also, my cousin recently got Stardoll, and her Superstar day was almost over, but since the Stardollars got converted to Starcoins, she couldn't buy any more "Superstar" items.  I hope Stardoll figures that one out.  On the other hand, people are selling items in Starbazaar for like 2 Starcoins, so its like getting them for .2 Stardollars!  Unfortunately for us smart shoppers, they'll probably figure it out soon.  So, what's your opinion on the Starcoin matter?

Finally, many Superstars will be glad to see that you can now reserve items in Starbazaar!  If something is reserved, it has a tag with a heart on it.  You can reserve something simply by typing someone's name in the "Reserve For" box in your StarBazaar.

Finally, there's a new collection of Super Supreme out.  It's full of celebrity name puns, and at the end, there is a Sunny Bunny-inspired section.  They range in price from 35-80.  So far, the only ones gone are "Kitty Purry" and "Miss Gaga".  I bought the "Black Eyed Peas".  They're cuter and a lot less expensive.  Did you buy any?

From May 3rd-5th, you will get 50% extra stardollars when you buy.  So if you buy 200, you'll get 100 free!  If you buy 400, you'll get 200 free!  I think I'll take Stardoll up on this offer, since I've been wanting to buy more Stardollars anyway.

Miss Sporty Mascara Works

I was editing my MeDoll today, and, on a whim, I decided to try out the Miss Sporty mascara, which hadn't worked before.  Today, it worked!  I think you can still get it by using a UK manual proxy to join the club.  However, it works the same as any other mascara.  It's up to you!  I would get it if I were a non-superstar with no mascara, but I probably wouldn't if I did have mascara or access to buy it.

New Endangered Animal!

This month's endangered animal is called the Przewalski's Horse.  It is critically endangered and lives in Asia.  It is also called the Asian Wild Horse or Mongolian Wild Horse, and since it has never been domesticated, it's the only true wild horse.

Monte Carlo Promotion

Well, there's a new promotion on Stardoll for the upcoming movie Monte Carlo starring Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester.  I'm not sure if it's for all countries, probably not, but I know it's definitely in the US.  There's a free dress:

What you have to do to get the dress is go to your suite and click on the Monte Carlo bag, then go to the campaign page, and then go back to your suite.  It will be in a Monte Carlo bag.

There's also a party, though it's kind of hard to get into.  Anyway, once you get in, the main characters (Grace, Meg, Emma, and Owen) just ask you a bunch of questions.  You can respond, and take pictures.

My Very First Spoilers Post :)

Well, here's my first spoilers post!  There are a lot, and it's harder to put them all together than I thought.  But anyway, I did it, so here goes! (:

It looks like a nice new furniture collection!  Tell me what you think of it! Though I'm pretty sure no one's reading this... Oh well.

Trying to Restart :)

Well, I know this blog hasn't been too successful (at all), and so I stopped posting for, um... a couple of months. But I gained some new skills (like finding spoilers :D), and I realized that this blog should have some good posts when I really start advertising it.  So, if anyone's reading this, here's to us and a new era of blogging!

Stardoll Party Issues?

        I don't know about anyone else, but I've been having trouble with Parties on Stardoll.  Yesterday, I was trying to make a wedding for one of my friends in one of the rooms that costs 5sd, and twice when I tried to publish it I told me I had "insufficient funds", and later the excuse changed to "you have reached the maximum of saved parties."  I've received this message before, but only when I have another active party.  After that party finishes, the message goes away.  But at the time, I had no other parties open.  After that, 10sd of my money disappeared from my account, and I checked to see that it had taken the money for the parties without letting me host them.  Today, I tried to host a party in the Pink Party Room, which, as you know, is free.  Again, when I tried to publish it, it told me I did not have enough money to host the party.  However, I've been to Parties today, so some people must not be having trouble.  I want to know: is this just me or is anyone else having trouble with Stardoll Parties?
